Cement pump trucks must use outrigger pads during operation, not only for equipment stability, but also for operation safety and ground protection.
Why do cement pump trucks have to use outrigger pads?

- Prevent ground subsidence
When the cement pump truck is operating, the outriggers will concentrate the weight of the entire vehicle on four points, and the pressure of each outrigger can be as high as tens of tons or even hundreds of tons;
If the ground is: asphalt/land/lawn/floor tiles/concrete thin layer
Then it is very easy to cause the ground to crack, sink, and overturn the equipment. - Ensure the level of the equipment and ensure operation safety
When the cement pumping arm is unfolded, the entire vehicle must be in an absolutely horizontal state;
If the ground is uneven and the outriggers are depressed, the equipment will tilt or swing, which may cause the pumping arm to break or the vehicle to roll over in severe cases. - Enhance anti-skid and support stability
High-quality outrigger pads have anti-skid patterns and high friction coefficients to prevent the outriggers from sliding;
It is especially important to use them in unstable places such as wetlands, rainy days, and construction mud. - Extend equipment life and reduce maintenance
Reduce wear of direct contact between the bottom of the outrigger and the ground;
Avoid deformation and cracking of the outrigger due to uneven force.
