Distinctive Ultra High Density Polyethylene Sheets

Ultra high density polyethylene sheets have high wear resistance, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance, high strength, low friction coefficient, self-lubricating characteristics, etc., because the molecular chain of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene is entangled and extremely high viscosity. There is almost no liquidity, so processing is more difficult. It is difficult to form a product by processing it with general processing equipment.

At present, the processing of Ultra high density polyethylene sheets are mostly carried out by molding. When the Ultra high density polyethylene sheets are produced by the molding method, the following production processes are generally employed:

Ultra High Density Polyethylene Sheets

1. Selection of raw materials: The quality of raw materials determines the quality of the plate products. Our emerging ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene board manufacturers will use high-quality raw materials with a molecular weight of 3 to 6 million to scientifically formulate and obtain high-quality products with reasonable technology.

2. Ingredients: Firstly, check the performance indexes of the raw materials (check the product inspection report), add various additives according to the determined formula ratio, put them into the high-speed mixing machine, mix the ingredients at a certain pressure and temperature, and fully discharge the raw materials. Moisture in the water. If the color of the board is required, it is necessary to add the corresponding pigment according to the color requirements.

3. Pressure plasticization: Put the mixed raw materials into the mold and add a certain pressure to discharge the air in the raw material. Add high temperature to plasticize the material in the mold into a transparent paste, and maintain a certain temperature and pressure to make it sufficient. Plasticization.

4. Molding: After fully plasticizing, gradually lower the temperature and add high pressure. The lower the temperature, the greater the pressure applied until the process requirements are met.

5. Demoulding and shaping: After the plate is taken out of the mold, it is manually shaped and put into storage for transportation.
