Polymer polyethylene sheets (especially UHMWPE and HDPE sheets) need to be carefully prevented from deformation, warping, contamination and aging during storage. The following are recommended stacking and storage methods to ensure stable sheet quality and facilitate subsequent processing:
- Stacking and storage method
Horizontal stacking (preferred):
The sheets should be neatly placed on a horizontal and flat pallet or shelf to avoid hanging or uneven force;
It is prohibited to place them upright or tilted against the wall, otherwise the sheets will easily deform due to their own weight for a long time.
Stacking by category of the same size:
Sheets of the same size should be stacked in a unified manner to avoid local pressure concentration caused by the staggered long and short sheets;
It is recommended that each stack should not exceed 1 meter in height to avoid excessive pressure on the bottom.
Pad and spacer paper/film:
A wooden pallet or plastic pallet is laid at the bottom of each pile;
Film or kraft paper can be placed between the sheets to prevent scratches and static dust.
Pressurized flattening blocks (optional):
For molded sheets that have just left the factory and are still affected by thermal expansion, flattening blocks can be added to the top of the pile for a period of time to help them naturally flatten and shape. - Environmental storage requirements

Avoid direct sunlight for a long time (easy to age and yellow)
Ground Dry, solid, free of oil and dirt
Anti-pressure heavy objects Heavy materials or miscellaneous items must not be stacked on the sheets - Special precautions
Sheets with insufficient UV stability must be stored away from light;
Colored sheets (especially white or light colors) are more likely to absorb dust and discolor, and need to be covered with plastic cloth or packaging film;
Large-sized thick sheets are heavy, so it is recommended to use forklifts + wooden pallets to move them to prevent the middle of the sheets from collapsing;
