Strong chemical corrosion resistance

Except for concentrated nitric acid and concentrated sulfuric acid, it will not be corroded in all alkaline and acidic liquids used in concentrated hydrochloric acid at a temperature of 80 ℃. It is also stable in<20% nitric acid and<75% sulfuric acid. It is also stable for washing water and liquids
However, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene is prone to swelling in aromatic or halogenated compounds, especially at high temperatures, so special attention should be paid.
Superior impact resistance performance

In special circumstances, it is allowed to be used at higher temperatures. Due to the excellent toughness of UHMWPE, it is good for low resistance performance. It still has a certain degree of ductility at -269 ℃ without any signs of brittle fracture.
Excellent electrical insulation performance
UHMWPE has excellent electrical insulation properties over a wide temperature range, with a volume resistance of 10-18CM, a breakdown voltage of 50KV/mm, and a dielectric constant of 2.3. Its electrical insulation performance changes minimally over a wide range of temperatures and frequencies. Within the heat-resistant temperature range, it is very suitable as a structural material for electrical engineering and a material for paper mills.
