Polyethylene track shoes (also known as PE track pads, track protection plates), usually made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), are a kind of protective plate installed under the tracks or on the ground of crawler machinery (such as excavators, bulldozers, lifting equipment, etc.).
The main functions of polyethylene track shoes:

- Protect the ground
Prevent the steel track from directly contacting the ground, and avoid scratching, crushing or contaminating the concrete, asphalt, lawn, floor tiles and other ground.
Especially suitable for urban construction, squares, factory workshops, exhibition halls and other areas with high requirements for the ground. - Enhance equipment stability
Provide a flat, high-friction contact surface to reduce sliding and improve the grip of crawler machinery on muddy, slippery, grassy and soft ground. - Reduce the pressure of equipment on the ground
Disperse the track pressure, effectively reduce the load per unit area, and prevent the machinery from sinking into soft soil or lawn. - Shock absorption and noise reduction
Polyethylene material has good cushioning properties, which can reduce vibration and noise during track operation and improve the comfort of the construction environment. - Extend track life
By reducing direct friction with hard ground, track wear is reduced, thereby extending the service life of the track plate.
Common application scenarios:
Urban construction
Municipal road repair
